Often when I write a descriptive essay, I will use a sample as my guide on what should be in the actual writing.One of the first things I do when writing a descriptive essay is to read through the sample essay. This can be done online, in books, or in magazines. This can help me see the style of writing that I want to use and how much I want to get into detail in my descriptive writing. It can also help me with the wording.The next thing I do is to get ideas for the descriptive essay from the sample essay. I will make notes as I go along and do some rewriting as needed.Next I will type up the essay into short paragraphs. I will be checking to see if the descriptions are accurate. I may take out any information that is not needed for the particular topic.After I am finished writing the descriptive essay, I will review the essay. If the essay has typos, I will correct them right away. I may remove some descriptive information or make a couple of changes to make the essay more informative.Finally, I will make sure the descriptive essay is perfect before submitting it to college or high school teachers. I may make a few changes and the essay may still get rejected.There are many ways to write a good descriptive essay. I use samples for some information but do not use samples for all of my writing. It depends on the subject of the essay.These samples will provide me with a way to see how the descriptive essay will sound. I also use samples for the main subject of the essay, for example in the case of the Biology description.
